Art and Twink own Long Lake Scuba Inc.

Twink is an Scuba Schools International Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Specialties &  Dive Con Instructor.    She also teaches International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers  Nitrox, Deep Air, and Advanced Nitrox and NAUI Instructor. Was  a YMCA Instructor, but the agency has stopped certifying.

Art is also an SSI   Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Specialties, Dive Con and Instructor Trainer. He is a retired  P.A.D.I. Instructor and  P.A.D.I. Specialties Instructor.

Both Twink and Art are Instructors with the Handicapped Scuba Association.

Captain Stephen Hoverman is retired from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department/Dive Team. He is an SSI  and YMCA Instructor,  OW, AOW, Dive Specialties, and DiveCon Instructor.

Captain Hoverman and the team train at both Long Lake and Gilboa Quarry.   His dive travel experiences include many places in the Caribbean.  In the States, he dives Panama City, Vortex, the Great Lakes, and fresh water lakes in Michigan.  Locally, he dives Gilboa Quarry, Lake Amanda,  Portage Quarry, White Star Quarry,  and of course Long Lake. He has passed on to the dive site in the heavens.

Gene Mertz,  is a Scuba Schools International  Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Specialties and DiveCon Instructor.  He has logged over 1250 dives since 1990.  Gene is a Y.M.C.A. Open Water Instructor as well as an I.A.N.T.D. Advanced Nitrox Instructor.

Gene’s dive travel includes Cozumel,  the lesser Antilles, Grand Cayman, Bonaire, BVI, Roatan, and the Red Sea .   In the States, he dives Panama City, Northern Florida Springs, Vortex, the Great Lakes in Michigan and Ohio,  fresh water lakes in Michigan and Indiana.  Locally, he dives Gilboa Quarry, Lake Amanda,  Portage Quarry, White Star Quarry, Long Lake and basically, anywhere there is water.  He has passed on to the dive site in the heavens.
 Gregory Berquist: SSI Instructor,  NAUI Instructor, dives locally at Gilboa Quarry, Long’s Quarry, Portage, and White Star. His travel has taken him to many wonderful diving destinations. Cozumel, a close all time favorite, the Dominican, Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao to name a few.
